UIBS | hospitality announces our participation in the Annual General Meeting of PASYXE (Cyprus Hotel Association) 2026, where key stakeholders of the hospitality industry gathered to discuss the sector's direction, innovation, and future growth.

Our presence at this important industry event reflects our continued commitment to supporting hotels and hospitality businesses with advanced, scalable digital solutions tailored to modern operational needs.

Driving Innovation in Hospitality Technology

Taking this opportunity, UIBS | hospitality is proud to announce a series of product enhancements and platform optimizations designed to improve performance, user experience, and operational efficiency for our clients.

These latest updates reinforce our focus on reliability, speed, and maintainability across all hospitality solutions.

Key Product Updates & Releases

Master Page Refactor

A complete refactor of the platform's master page structure was implemented to enhance readability, streamline code organization, and improve long-term maintainability.

Client Settings Optimization

Client-specific configurations are no longer retrieved on every request. Instead, they are now loaded once and cached in memory, significantly reducing database load and improving overall performance.

Application Insights Optimization

We reduced excessive telemetry payloads being sent to Application Insights, resolving performance bottlenecks and improving deployment visibility.

This also included the removal of deprecated ModelV2 telemetry after identifying root causes through advanced memory dump analysis.

reCAPTCHA Optimization

reCAPTCHA is now applied only where necessary (contact forms, footer enquiries, and registrations), eliminating unnecessary loading on all pages and improving responsiveness.

Performance & Front-End Enhancements

JavaScript Loading Optimization (LCP Improvements)

We reorganized script loading to prioritize critical assets, improving Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) and overall page speed:

  • Critical scripts load first
  • Non-critical scripts deferred

CSS Optimization

  • Immediate loading of essential styles
  • Deferred loading of non-critical CSS

JavaScript Optimization

  • Prioritization of essential scripts
  • Deferred execution of non-essential functionality

Library Cleanup

Removed outdated and unused libraries such as pace.js, reducing unnecessary overhead.

Stability, UX & Delivery Improvements

Bug Fixes

Resolved critical issues in the "Add to Cart" SPA flow, ensuring a smoother user journey.

Cache Busting / Versioning

Introduced temporary versioning for custom.js to prevent caching issues, eliminating the need for manual cache clearing or incognito browsing after updates.

Media & Asset Optimization

Image Optimization

  • Resized and optimized images using industry tools (e.g., Squoosh).
  • Ensured correct display sizing to prevent performance inefficiencies.

Font Loading Optimization

  • Implemented font-display: swap.
  • Enabled faster perceived load times using system fonts while custom fonts load.

Infrastructure Enhancement

Script Resource Handler Optimization

Refinements were implemented to improve resource delivery efficiency and application performance at the configuration level.

Commitment to the Hospitality Industry

“Our participation in PASYXE AGM 2026 underscores our role not only as a technology provider, but as an active contributor to the evolution of the hospitality sector,” said Polykarpos Yiannoudes, General Manager. “These latest product updates demonstrate our commitment to delivering faster, smarter, and more scalable solutions for our clients.”
