UIBS attended the 30th Annual General Meeting of Cyprus Shipping Chamber as proud sponsors.
The General Meeting was addressed by Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades and by the President of the House of Parliament, Demetris Syllouris. In view of the Chamber’s 30th Anniversary the General Meeting was also attended and addressed by the International Chamber of Shipping Chairman, Esben Poulsson and the European Community Shipowners’ Associations Vice President, Claes Berglund, presenting current matters concerning European and International Shipping.
During the General Meeting, reference was made to the multi-faceted work of the Chamber the past 30 years, the importance of the Cyprus Shipping Industry to the Cyprus Economy and Society and to the current matters of concern to the Cyprus Shipping Industry.
