UIBS will be participating in the 7th Cyprus Shipping News CSN Cyprus ICT Conference, titled: “Intelligent Skies, Secure Seas: The AI Impact on ICT”
AI is actively moving from a conceptual talking point to an operational tool, redefining route optimisation, predictive maintenance, and threat detection. Yet, the introduction of machine intelligence inevitably creates friction with traditional human maritime expertise. We need to understand the new synergy required between the algorithm and the crew.
Our General Manager, Polykarpos Yiannoudes, will take on the role of Moderator for Session 3, leading an engaging and thought‑provoking discussion on: “The AI Courtroom: A Mock Trial”.
